Character: Rival/Silver Series: Pokemon Gold/Silver or Heartgold/Soulsilver Year Made: 2011 Debuted: Otakuthon 2011 About: I've kind of had a recent re-addiction to Pokemon, especially after reading the Pokemon Special manga! And Silver is just...such a misunderstood guy, I love him to bits. <3 Being Giovanni's son after all, you can call him a tad damaged, but he comes through in the end! Especially in the manga. Plus! ~rosieru-chan was doing Green, so we got to be rivals together!
Pros: Pretty simple costume, the wig came out quite nicely although I would have preferred it spikier in the back. Really comfortable too!
Cons: Trying to finish this costume along with merchandise for my table with Rosieru. Lots of sobbing after not sleeping for 36 hours. XD But worked really hard and Rosieru helped a lot, so it was done! But oh gosh...never again... Also having to settle with a sweatpant-like material for his pants. I was restricted, and I would have preferred something else. But at least they were comfortable!
Sounds like me, seriously... I am totally a one track mind. XD
And I made it stick up with just hairspray and a hair dryer! (Same way I assume you did your spikes, right?) I cut the tuft to what I wanted, then held it up by the tip of my fingers to where i wanted it, sprayed it with hairspray (at the tip to hold it together and a little at the bottom too, but its the tip that's important) and used the hairdryer to dry it really fast! It's a little hot on your fingers, but worth it!
Did you make or buy your cosplay can I ask ~? :3
You're wig is awesome, by the way~ You did a great job styling it. *_* Wish I'd put more spikes in mine...
Thank you so much! I love yours better though, it has the spike on the top! :3
